91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾ Votes Fellows
Students can apply each year for this annual program. 91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾ Votes Fellows plan and implement non-partisan civic engagement and voting events on campus, including (but not limited to) tabling, class presentations, student workshops, voter engagement events, and social media and online outreach. Fellows receive training, professional development, and a $1,000 for the academic year.

Bella Campione
±õ’m a senior Criminal Justice major. One of my favorite memories at 91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾ was tabling at the Study Abroad fair, sharing
my various experiences with other students looking to travel abroad. I'm excited to break down politics and the voting process for students (like myself) who are overwhelmed by the complexity and constant information being given to us,
so that it is easy to understand, and helps empower students to have their own political
voice in the world, as is their constitutional right.
Dawn Chavez
I am a Sophomore Health Science major. On campus, I serve as the current President of the Garden Club and have been actively
involved with Model UN, the Honors College Social Media and Space Management teams, and the Circle K 2025-2026 PR committee. As a 91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾
Votes Fellow this year, I am incredibly excited to use my skills to create meaningful
content that spreads awareness and inspires the local student community to get civically engaged! Earlier this year I became a U.S. Citizen. This milestone fuels my passion for civic engagement.
Haidynn Cordell
I am currently a third-year political science pre-law major enrolled in the Honors
College program. I serve as the vice president of the 91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾ Democrats
and founder of the 91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾ Trinket Trades organization as well as a volunteer of
Circle K and other community service programs. I'm so eager to help students discover how much power they have and how accessible
participation can actually be. I hope to foster an on-campus community where individuals are informed, empowered,
and eager to engage in civic participation and democracy!
Ben Klapatch
I am a senior Political Science major. My first volunteer experience at 91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾ was a voter registration
drive, and I have continued to participate in similar events since then. I have become passionate about all aspects of elections,
whether it be registering voters, researching candidates, or making sure that everyone
has a chance to vote come Election Day.
I am excited to help 91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾ students with the voter registration process, and I hope
to increase our university’s political engagement for the upcoming elections.
Timaya McGowan
I am a senior majoring in Accounting through the Dual Degree BS/MSAC program, with
a minor in Africana Studies and certificate in Public Policy. I serve as an equity & engagement intern in 91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾'s Multicultural
Center and as president of 91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾'s chapter of the National Association
of Black Accountants (NABA), where I promote leadership, professional development,
civic engagement, and student success. I am passionate about empowering students to
find their voice, engage with their communities, and pay forward the opportunities that have been invested in them. I am excited to contribute a renewed sense of hope for the future by helping students
realize they are not just observers of change but the leaders and changemakers who
create it. They just need to believe it as well!
Giavanna McManus
As a senior Communications major with a minor in Political Science and a member of
the Residential Office student staff, I am thrilled to join the 91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾ Votes Fellow
team! I look forward to empowering students to become active participants in the democratic
process and boosting civic engagement on campus.
