The Office of Equal Opportunity & Institutional Compliance oversees 91ÊÓÆµ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾â€™s progress toward equity, diversity and inclusion through its leadership and collaboration with members of the campus community.
The office oversees this progress through 91ÊÓÆµ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾â€™s nondiscrimination policies, which are based within federal and state non-discrimination laws. The office handles concerns and complaints, particularly those related to harassment and other forms of prohibited discrimination.
Title IX
The Title IX of the Education amendments of 1972 protects people from sex discrimination in educational programs and activities at institutions that receive federal financial assistance.
